Botanical illustration

An illustration series about the floral shapes and colors and their organic flow.

Context:

Studying botanicals helped me understand their anatomy and shape. Their organic flow helped me create decorative patterns.  Project made in the second year of studies at the National University of Arts, Bucharest.

Technique:

Traditional drawing and engraving techniques: etching and the umdruckverfarhren technique with watercolor.
