Portraits from the Art Collection Museum

A personal interpretation of classical oil paintings through illustration.

Context:

During visits at the Art Collection Museum in Bucharest, a few classical oil paintings inspired me to create a series of illustration characters. Art museums are always a good source of references for illustrations, and there is so much more to learn from the old masters.

Technique:

Gouache and pencil on 21/29cm, 160gsm sketchbook paper.
